Mom Trends in my Neighborhood - Burlington, VT

I am responding to Katja’s call to action regarding local mom fashion.  Burlington is full of all types of fashion from hippy to trendy.  Most moms tend to dress sporty casual during the day and trendy or preppy for going out. 

Baby joggers are a HUGE necessity here since most people are so active and all brands and versions can be seen around town.  Slings are also very popular.

Babies are dressed in a minimalistic fashion.  Old Navy and Baby Gap are the most common look - not a lot of ruffles and teddy bears.  And a very popular activity is taking your baby to baby yoga in your Subaru or SUV.

Sounds like a lot like here in Durango! Except the Old Navy and Gap part - the closest stores are over three hours away, and we have only two small boutiques here, plus the ease of online shopping :)

I think I would fit into this area very well!! You know I’m a New England girl and I have never been to Burlington, VT. My husband and I are heading with the kids to NH this weekend… we have to try and get to VT this season. Last year I was too pregnant… but you’re definitely got me excited to get there. Love it!!
